Brink has two reading periods per year: January and July.

 

 

July 1 - 31 we will open for submissions engaging the theme of Obsession.

 

 

Brink also accepts submissions for The Emerging Writer Fellowship in Hybrid Writing (June 1 - July 31, 2024 ) and The Brink Literary Journal Award for Hybrid Writing (January 1, 2024 - February 29, 2024).

How often are print issues released?

Brink is a bi-annual publication with the Spring issue releasing each April and the Fall issue releasing each October.

How can I purchase the journal?

​

 

Annual subscriptions range from $32 up to pledges of $2500. Various levels come with a postcard set, tote bag, stickers, and mug.

 

 

All current and past issues are also available to purchase for $16 each.
